A Day in the Life:
As our Performance Manager, you will be expected to be an active member of the Alliance team by coordinating and administering all training. See that all aspects of Associate development and property success are met through appropriate training and follow up. Be a constant advocate for, and visible representative of Alliance Residential's goal to be "The Best Property Management Company" in the nation.
What You'll Do:
Discern with other Performance Directors, Regional Managers, and Vice President, the training needs of the Division
Facilitate on-board training courses through the use of an online learning environment.
Devise necessary programs and update training materials to meet the needs of the division. All programs to be coordinated and common with other divisions of the company
Monitor 3rd party Mystery Shop scores. The Mystery Shops are to be coordinated with Regional Managers. Based upon the score, the Regional Performance Director may need to schedule a one-on-one coaching session with the Associate. These sessions should be coordinated with the Associate's Business Manager (and Regional Manager where appropriate)
Conduct specific training sessions. These sessions may be conducted through site visits or regional workshops (Motivators, Leasing Workshops, New Hire Forums). Each will be based upon the needs of the region
Attend all scheduled weekly conference calls with the Vice Presidents and Regional Managers discussing specific properties, to report on training, discuss needs and personnel as requested by Regional Managers and Vice President
Utilize One-on-One Coaching sessions to review KPIs with Associates and develop a coaching plan. These sessions should be coordinated with the Associate's Business Manager (and Regional Manager where appropriate)
Make arrangements for and execute all associate major functions such as Annual Recognition functions, Annual Fun Days, Annual Manager Retreat and any other functions as directed by company executives
Plan, execute, and participate in committees or chair them as requested
Maintain high quality representation of Alliance while adhering to a reasonable budget
On-going knowledge of adult learning and synchronous online principles.
Make recommendations and modifications regarding office and region performance, business needs, etc.
Any other tasks assigned or directed
What You'll Need to Succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor or Associates degree preferred.
Previous management and training experience preferred.
Previous work experience in the multi-family industry preferred.
High degree of responsibility and initiative.
Knowledge of or ability to learn details of Alliance policies and programs
Typing and data entry skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Possess skills in presentation/curriculum development.
Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
Ability to manage and lead a team of Associates.
Ability to have flexibility with working schedule based on business and deadline needs.
Ability to work a schedule during normal work hours and that may be other than Monday-Friday, 8-5. Work in excess of 40 hours per week is likely.
Consistent, regular and in person attendance during regular working hours at the workplace is required.
