A Day in the Life:
As the Assistant Service Supervisor, you are responsible to maintain a luxurious appearance of the property that meets safety requirements. You will assist in mentoring other Service Associates. While perform service duties, you will also be expected to exemplify complete knowledge of all equipment and appliances, express interest in accepting management functions delivered by the Service Supervisor and be involved in creating and developing relationships with vendors.

What You'll Do:
Assist Service Supervisor and Business Manager in hiring, inspecting, counseling and promoting, staffing levels as directed by the Regional Manager.
Promote safety initiatives and a safe working environment to help educate Associates on performing their roles in a safe and productive manner.
Regularly inspect all common areas and building systems; correct and train associates on issues as needed.
Assist with scheduling service requests for Service Associates to ensure requests are entered appropriately into data system(s).
Participate in 24-hour emergency maintenance for on-call rotations and provide reliable and timely service.
Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting work on a continuous basis.
Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors as needed.
Assist with training Associates on how to properly complete tasks according to Alliance's procedures and policies through interactive training and mentorship.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Obtain EPA Section 608 HVAC Type I certification within 90 days of employment.
Bachelor or Associates degree
EPA/CFC and CPO certifications
North American Technician Excellence (NATE)
Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration certifications (HVAC)
Minimum of 1-2 years' previous experience in a maintenance role
Previous multi-family hospitality community experience
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to defuse and correct a negative experience into a positive interaction with a resident, vendor or team member
Possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other associates
