Purpose of the Role: The Traveling Property Manager / Trainer will mentor and train other employees, including but not limited to Property Managers I, II & III. They will temporarily manage properties in need, due to vacancy and/or new purchases throughout Monarch’s nationwide portfolio. This position requires travel up to 75% of the time
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Trains and instructs all on-site employees to ensure job duties, responsibilities, expectations and company policies are clearly understood; or arrange for training to be provided.
Conducts evaluations to identify areas of improvement.
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as onboarding training, on-the-job training and refresher training.
Operates or assist in the operation of property/s within their group financial guidelines (The Budget).
Ensures properties are leased at or above market occupancy and rent levels.
Ensures all property marketing is current, accurate, relevant and at its greatest effect.
Directs activities of all on-site personnel, office, maintenance, grounds and housekeeping.
Process all invoices generated by the property and insure they are paid in a timely manner
Post, collect, track and manage delinquency of rental and other income.
Responsible for building and maintaining a community of residents through resident relations.
Ensure desired tenant renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ Years’ property management experience in multifamily housing.
Ability to self-direct and to prioritize multiple projects.
Training experience a plus and preferred.
This position requires travel up to 75% of the time
