This position is responsible for using strong analytical, technical and collaborative skills for extracting, gathering, creating and delivering various reports and analyses on key metrics and creating and/or maintaining current process documentation surrounding employee compensation.
Extract and combine payroll information from multiple data sources and deliver ad-hoc and variancereports for regional reporting.
Analyze payroll details to ensure employees are coded to the correct departments in the general ledger.
Work closely with various departments to identify miscoded payroll and prepare reclasses and intercompany transactions to reconcile the payroll accounts.
Calculate monthly payroll and incentive accruals and post adjusting journal entries.
Input payroll information into the budget system and update as needed for the quarterly reforecasts.
Prepare budget to actual payroll detail reports for regional leadership to review.
Calculate and prepare payroll billback entries to third party projects.
Prepare journal entries,intracompany transactions, general ledgeraccount reconciliations andbudget variance reports.
Maintain data integrity and complianceby running reports, auditing and analyzing information and troubleshooting errors.
Manage the delivery of key payroll projects that include obtaining an understanding of the issue and collaboration with key team members about the issues.
