Project Expeditor is responsible for assisting/supporting the Superintendent in preparing, monitoring, and adjusting project schedules, as well as managing submittals, RFI's, plan document management, project specifications, etc.
Assist and support Superintendent.
Prepare, monitor, and adjust project schedules weekly.
Expedite shop drawings and check/field verify.
Monitor job site safety.
Expedite material deliveries and job Purchase Orders.
Maintain Quality Control programs and Building Log files.
Interface with property management.
Assist Superintendent in field layout and drawing/spec compliance.
Coordinate testing and lab services.
Assure subcontractor contract compliance.
Coordinate project turnovers with property management.
Manage on site accounting responsibilities.
Assist Superintendent with RFI's.
Maintain Contract set of drawings.
Coordinate As-built documents.
Monitor Mold Protocol.
Maintain job site photos.
1 year multifamily construction required
3 years multifamily construction preferred
High School required/Bachelors preferred
Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs)
Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing
Works in a typical office setting
Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position
Must handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis
May require long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)
Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
May require airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips
Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position
Hazards can be minimized with proper lifting techniques, SDS, general safety training, and wearing appropriate PPE
