Partner - EMEA Hospitality - Valuation Location: London
We have a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join our EMEA Hospitality Valuation team here in London.
Our EMEA hospitality business operates from 14 offices in 13 countries across EMEA, with over 80 people focused on providing hotel sector advice across three main service lines: capital markets; development & operator selection; and valuation & advisory.
This role is specifically in our London based hotel valuation and advisory team. The team works extensively across the UK as well as mainland Europe and provides advice on a range of hotel types from limited service to luxury resort hotels. The team acts for a range of clients including lenders, investors and owner operators.
We are looking for a recognised leader in hotel valuations to join our established team to further grow our offering. The role will form part of the senior hospitality team reporting to the Head of Hospitality Valuation & Advisory.
Joining the business as a Partner, you will be required to manage an existing team of surveyors and analysts in the valuation process across all types of hotels principally focussed on the UK region although there is the ability to travel across the region. A key focus on the role will be to further grow our offering through business generation with a particular focus on new clients in the lending arena as well as investors and owner operators.
Responsibilities:
* Valuation - lead a team of surveyors and analysts in overseeing the execution of assignments for loan security, financial reporting and other advisory work. Valuation assignments will include both trading assets and hotel investments subject to leases. * Client Development - take responsibility for growing the business targeting new lender and investor clients. This will involve proactively developing new client relationships and managing existing relationships. * Cushman & Wakefield - the role will require the individual to build strong relationships across the C&W hospitality platform working with Partners in our Capital Markets and Investor Services teams as well as the wider business in order to benefit from new work.
Experience
* Hotel valuation experience and MRICS qualified. * Established track record in the hotel valuation sector with ability to expand the business.
