Requirements
- Must hold a current state-issued driver's license and record in good standing
- In addition to tolerating various conditions, you need to be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull 50 pounds daily
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights and on rooftops.
- Ability to organize and schedule one's own work assignments
Responsibilities
- Install insulation on piping, walls, and other surfaces
- Maintain and repair existing insulation
- Measure, cut, and install insulation to fit walls, ducting, piping, and equipment using a variety of insulation materials
- Fabricate blankets, shaping or forming foam or cutting and forming flexible jackets to fit odd-shaped objects
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment. "Safety First" expectations include, but are not limited to, the PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
- Installation, Maintenance, and Repair to be performed in conformance with established quality standards.
- Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards/work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
- Must have working knowledge of all hand / power tools to perform metal layouts of all types, use math facts and charts, and be able to apply knowledge to perform all insulation functions.
- Works from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment as necessary to complete tasks.
- Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job. Must maintain a consistent and good attendance record in accordance with Company policy
- Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Possess a high school degree or an approved GED.
Experience: 2 years associated procedural experience / data entry
Certifications: OSHA approved Scaffold building certification.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, climb flights of stairs, work from elevated areas, and wear a respirator when required by the job. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate hand tools and industrial machinery such as a truck or fork-lift. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50- 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
