This position provides organizational and analytical support to the growing Client Services Team for all major markets on the West Coast. Team member will research, analyze, assemble and summarize financial data to help the company and Clients make well informed decisions. Ideal candidate will have analytic experience, functional background, such as finance/accounting, real estate operations management or capital markets experience to understand and support department requirements.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support Senior Director of Client Services along with regional Managing Directors with underwriting, due diligence, market intelligence and property management analysis. Interface with Clients on potential acquisitions, operating expense analysis and performance opportunities. Coordinate ongoing collection of financial data from departments, market brokers, institutional partners, lenders, regional property management and other key stakeholders. Consolidate and report trends, utilizes internal business intelligence platforms as well as external data sources such as Costar, Axio Metrics and Yardi. Responsible for meeting client deadlines, ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality. Assist in the development and completion of periodic reports. Perform rent, sales and supply/ demand analysis. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Candidate must be deadline driven, detail oriented and able to focus with regular or unscheduled interruptions within an office environment or remotely. Candidate will be a self-starter, eager to learn and manage time effectively. Solid understanding of financial statements and real estate fundamentals. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office. Proficiency with Excel required. Basic understanding of real estate finance concepts. Ability to generate and comprehend reports from Yardi and other management platforms. Effective, clear, precise written and oral communication skills are critical, as well as strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in independent situations and in team situations.
EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of two to three years' experience in commercial real estate analysis and outstanding academic credentials. Real estate organization/management operations experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office work environment with little or no exposure to undesirable elements.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Up to 20% to local markets and regional/national meetings
