The role of a Commercial Leasing Intern is to remain up-to-date in the property sector and be on top of all transactional data and any information that might affect the industry. The role will involve preparing/supporting the production of quality leasing pipeline and market update reports as directed. Through effective systems and time management, the intern will be able to complete all tasks as allocated. You will work closely with the Team Leader in maintaining property data, client relationships through providing quality customer service and exceptional report standards.
Job Description
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial Leasing Intern work focuses on gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketplace trends and data as input to marketing and development strategies/plans for clients including:
Conduct market research activities and manage data collection (via internet, phone interviews, site inspections, proprietary sources/database, articles, news) on assigned destinations.
Site visit and update project information
Solicit and compile listings of available rental properties and manage the teamâ™s property database.
Do cold calls and manage the teamâ™s client contact database with the aim of securing appointments in the future.
Ensure property data and client contact inputs of the highest quality.
Translate standard documents
Support team leader in creating pipeline reports, capabilities statements, track records and departmentâ™s proposal and presentations in a timely fashion.
Coordinate the Commercial Leasing team in all aspects of leasing process including, but not limited to bid application processing, paperwork processing, site inspections, site finding, lease renewals, etc.
Handle customerâ™s requests, improve service quality to increase customer satisfaction
Handle project marketing duties, including but not limited to website listings, marketing content and campaigns, if assigned to Landlord Representation Team.
Undertake ad-hoc projects or additional tasks that may be required by the Company.
Review property listings, trade journals, and relevant literature and attend conventions, seminars, association meetings in order to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets.
General administration duties relevant to the department.

REQUIREMENTS
IT literate and internet savvy.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Able to undertake business travel domestically and overseas.
Overtime work during the peak seasons might be required.
Good organization and planning skill to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Able to work well independently or within a team.
Professional in manner and appearance.

Overseas education is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in in Business Administration, Real Estate or related field
New graduates or 1 year of work experiences in admin or sales
