JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our employee compensation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in managing payroll, benefits, and other compensation-related activities. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee compensation information for each department, manage expense allocations, and prepare/review standard monthly journal entries
Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of payroll and compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Assist in the management of compensation budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support senior management in forecasting the impact of compensation changes on the organization's budget
Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to align compensation strategies with organizational goals.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation-related activities.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on compensation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
