Job Summary/ Role Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the People Partner and mainly remote People Services teams through overseeing and managing various HR functions, including Performance Management, Â Employee Relations (ER) and Compensation and Benefits.
This role is crucial in ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies and practices that support our organization's goals and promote a positive work environment. The HR Generalist will also partner with our HR Shared Service Center to optimize processes and enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management & Employee Relations (ER):
- Assist the People Partner & coordinate the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations : provide guidance and support to managers and employees throughout the process.
- Coordinate the annual French local interview (âœentretien conditions de travail & entretien professionnelâ) : provide guidance and support to managers and employees throughout the process and ensure completion by all stakeholders.
- Assist the People Partner in the coordination & facilitation of the collective employee relations management (CSE, CSSCTâ¦) : management of the BDES, coordination of annual expertise, preparation of mandatory reporting (quarterly & annual report, bilan social, internal equity indexâ¦), support collective agreement registration processâ¦
- Support on adhoc HR projects linked to Talent / Performance Management / Compensation review / Employee Relations (Working Council)
Policies & procedures
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Partner with the HR Shared Service Center to document and optimize HR processes, enhancing the employee experience.
- Support employee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Manage correspondence with employees and external authorities.
- Support local certification process (Iso 9001, Ecovadis, ESGâ¦) & call to tender setting efficient& updated data base to provide accurate HR required documentation
Compensation & benefits
- Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, local profit sharing plan (Participation/intéressement) and other perks. Ensure employees are informed and supported in utilizing their benefits.
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to ensure our compensation and benefits packages remain competitive and attractive.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits practices comply with state regulations and company policies.
- Support with any complex calculations and agreements, working with local legal teams.
Data and analytics:
- Prepare and analyze HR data reports from various base & sources 6 ensuring accuracy in our people data base .
- Budgetary planning activities associated with workforce and labor costs in coordination with the Finance team -Â support annual workforce planning process in Adaptive (Workday)
- Management of HR invoices and cost centers.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven experience in an HR Generalist role or similar capacity with experience in Employee Relations, Compensations & Benefits
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations in France
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite, Workday knowledge a plus.
- Fluency in French and English is essential
- Experience in multinational & matricial organization is a plus
