Job Description Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
â¢Be able to work in the Painting fields and lead personnel in a team oriented and safety conscious environment.
â¢Must be able to use hand/power tools
â¢Be able to work in elevated areas such as ladders, scaffolds and, platforms.
â¢Have knowledge of colors and codes of paint for RMEP and their different applications.
â¢Have knowledge of MSDS of paints and cleaners being used and, disposal of materials. (Responsible in making sure materials are disposed of properly)
â¢Must keep team informed of any and all hazarders materials being used.
NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
â¢Must maintain positive customer and employee relationships (communications with all)
â¢Making sure all areas are cleaned and primed before painting.
â¢Assist planner to schedule work (Regular & Over time)
â¢Create quotes as needed.
â¢Accurate and timely administrative duties to include Time off request forms (turned into planner/manager for signature)
â¢Review work orders with customer
â¢Fill out materials request form as needed (give to planner/manager to order)
â¢Check off materials from packing slip when received orders (sign sheets give to planner)
â¢Daily checks on jobs in progress & completed jobs. (Customer satisfaction)
â¢Complete overtime sheets and have signed (turned into planner)
â¢Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
â¢Assist in keeping painting tools and, equipment in good order and clean.
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
A valid driverâ™s license is required to obtain a Customer Mobile Equipment License.
â¢Able to operate a fork lift
â¢Able to operate man-lifts
