MAC Manager
Job Description Summary
The role of the MAC Manager is to assist with the implementation of relocations, logistic moves, furniture reconfigurations, and IT systems for moves of people, daily/weekly additions of the client team, or changes to the configuration of a client (name change, deletion, termination, etc) .
This role supports our Global MAC Manager SME who is overseeing the management of our Global MAC Projects. This role will have a main focus on NOAM Mac Support and coordination with our Occupancy Planners.
This role is highly interactive with the client site population and vendors. A strong customer service focus and desire to provide direct assistance to the client population is required
Job Description
- Activities will consist of day-to-day change requests; project support including client relationship and project coordination related to space and occupancy
- Provide superior customer service and customer support for day-to-day activities and questions as well as project support for large moves.
- Where there is no onsite FM or OP presence, develop and maintain excellent working relationship with key business and vendor partners, and Site Operation Managers
- Supports the maintenance of a central database housing property floor plans, space configurations, furniture layouts, etc.
- Complete test-fit space planning. Where planning impacts life-safety, accessibility or egress within the location, coordinate with Project Manager and local architectural resources for detailed drawings required for building permits.
- Manages and coordinates MAC work orders for approved contractors
- Manage new-hire placement
- Manage weekly small (<9) or large (>9) group moves
- Implement move plan in accordance with the approved occupancy plan
- Support MAC Manager Global SME with FM team, PDS team, and /or move vendor on installation and reconfiguration of furniture as it pertains to small and large group moves
- Coordinate with project manager to ensure work is delivered within timeframe and agreed-upon scope
- Coordinate pre-move-walkthroughs to ensure spaces are ready to receive occupants
- Keep track of all tasks, schedules
- Ensure all moves are performed in a manner consistent with documented processes and adhere to schedules
- Support change management as it pertains changing workspace and work style
- Evaluate and provide improvement suggestions for move processes and vendors; identify ways to improve client relationships through the MAC process
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in project or technology coordination preferred with strong knowledge of move process and furniture systems or facility management experience.
- 5-8 yearsâ™ experience in a corporate real estate environment.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail) required
- Proficient in AutoCAD and space planning
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
- Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion
- Strong attention to detail and quality with ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction
