Cushman & Wakefield are seeking an experienced Real Estate Security Lead to oversee and drive security initiatives across our clients real estate portfolio in APAC. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies while fostering a strong security culture. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and hands-on experience in managing security risks across multiple regions and diverse real estate assets.
Job Description
About the Role:
Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate objectives and global regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international EHS laws and regulations across all APAC locations.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential gaps or threats and recommend corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security resilience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including real estate, facilities management, operations, and clientâ™s security teams, to integrate security principles into daily business activities.
Develop and deliver Security training programs to enhance awareness and competency among employees and contractors.
About You:
Bachelorâ™s degree in security management, Real Estate, Risk Management, or a related field.
Tertiary level Work Health and Safety or Environment credentials required, minimum Diploma level qualification with equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of security experience, with experience working across regional real estate assets.
Strong knowledge of global security regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry standards (ISO 27001, ASIS CPP, etc.).
Proven ability to implement and manage security programs in a complex, multi-region environment.
