The Occupancy Planner oversees and provides tactical occupancy planning expertise in supply, capacity and demand of Clientâ™s portfolio of space in a specific geographic region.
Job Description
About the Role:
Space Planning & Strategy: Manage day-to-day change requests, develop space and stack plans, and support site strategy through occupancy analysis and utilization metrics.
Demand & Supply Management: Maintain and monitor business unit (BU) demand/supply data, ensuring alignment with approved plans and identifying unplanned activities.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients on sizing models and utilization data, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance planning outcomes.
Project Coordination & Support: Assist in project delivery by coordinating with project managers, supporting change management, and ensuring scope and timelines are met.
Workplace Experience & Analytics: Apply workplace strategy to long-term planning, improve employee experience, and use analytical skills to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
About You:
Educational & Professional Background: Bachelorâ™s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate, Facilities or Project Management) with 5+ years of experience in corporate real estate.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CAFM software, space management systems, architectural/engineering drawings, and MS Office Suite.
Analytical & Project Management Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and experience managing complex projects independently.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset and ability to build strong relationships.
Teamwork & Ownership: Demonstrates initiative, works well both independently and collaboratively, and takes ownership to ensure successful task completion.
